The stone is a doublet made with a synthetic opal called Aurora Opal, the stone shows various colors as the light hits it (see video). The flower is carved shell.

The wire is solid sterling silver. The cord necklace is included, it is nylon and is adjustable roughly 18"-20". Please note that silver naturally darkens with age and if necessary may be cleaned to lighten it back up, a polishing pad is included. The last photo shows back of the pendant, it is next to a ruler for size comparison.
